Safe wheelchair passenger transport

The Melex N.30 is equipped with a wheelchair access platform that allows convenient boarding and unloading. A dedicated wheelchair restraint system helps secure both the wheelchair and passenger during travel.

The vehicle can transport one wheelchair user and four additional passengers, making it suitable for both individual and group passenger transport.

Additional safety features include 3-point seat belts, a hydraulic braking system and an automatic electromagnetic parking brake.

Electric drive and comfortable operation

As standard, the Melex N.30 wheelchair transport vehicle is powered by a 5.0 kW AC electric motor and equipped with Trojan T-145 260 Ah batteries and a 48 V on-board charger.

Optional lithium batteries and an 8 kW AC motor are also available, allowing the vehicle specification to be adapted to different operating requirements.

The maximum speed is up to 25 km/h. An additional speed-limiting mode of 15 km/h supports safer operation in crowded areas, pedestrian zones and confined spaces.

Independent front suspension improves passenger comfort, while the driver benefits from equipment including a 7-inch touchscreen display, LED lighting and a windscreen with wiper.
